Crystal Dunn and Allie Long

Dunn and Long sounds more like a musical group or a law firm than a lethal scoring combination.

But members of the Albertson Fury and Albertson SC have become quite familiar with those names over the years.

On Thursday night, Russia's women's national team became very familiar with those names and players as Crystal Dunn and Allie Long did all the scoring for the United States in a 4-0 victory in an international friendly at Toyota Stadium in Frisco, Texas.

Each player finished the night with two goals and it is believed to be the first time that players from the same youth soccer club scored all goals for the national side.

"Both have matured into excellent footballers," Albertson director of football Paul Riley said. "Allie has a superb tactical understanding of the game and combined with her ability to get into the box and score goals as shown against Russia. She really is the complete modern midfielder.

"Crystal is electrifying. Her desire and effectiveness in beating players makes her a consummate game changer. She can make her own goals or combine to score and that was apparent against last night vs. Russia.

"Albertson Fury is immensely proud not just because of their performance last night but how they have evolved in their game. Fabulous to see and credit to their hunger and desire for growth."

A Rockville Centre, N.Y. native who joined Chelsea (England) earlier this season, Dunn struck twice on the same field where she tied a national team record with five goals in a match during.
