FC FURY is one of the founding members of the GDA and will open their inaugural campaign in September. Seventy clubs will participate in the Girls Development Academy the first ever full time youth soccer program established for girls.

The FURY program is delighted to offer the top players of Long Island and New York the opportunity to play and train with a fully professional staff that have developed over 40 youth national team players, 22 professional players (9 PRESENT NWSL professional players) and two present starters on the full USWNT.

The DA will be the top league for female soccer competition in the United States. Many games will be scouted by US National Team Staff as well as having college scouts in attendance.

Sam Dumont
FC Fury is pleased to announce the signing of Samantha Dumont. Dumont was an invitee of ID2, and a member of Region 1 Pool, National team pool, Red Bulls Elite Girls Showcase Select team, Next Gen Select team, and a won a National Championship in the Super Y League in 2015. "Sam has a wide range of excellent football tools. Speed, quality on ball, Individual skill, and is an excellent reader of the game" Commented Izzy Cotto Director of Personnel.

When asked why she chose DA, she said, "I believe it is the best soccer platform for girls to improve their physical, tactical, technical and mental soccer skills." Dumont, who is currently ranked #17 player in New York for the class of 2020 by TopDrawerSoccer, was also the first ever Freshman to make the varsity team at St. Francis Prep while maintaining an Honor Student GPA. "I am looking forward to this new challenge that will come from being a part of the DA and competing against some of the best players. I am also excited to be a part of a new venture that will assist me to become the best soccer player I can under the guidance of the FC Fury coaching staff."

Melanie Navas
Playing soccer since she was three, FC Fury is pleased to announce the signing of Melanie Navas. Navas comes from a family where everyone played the game. Parents are originally from Colombia, where Football (Soccer) is one of the culture's more important activities. "Mel is a born footballer. Great soccer IQ, brilliant passing range, and two soft fluent feet,"Said Izzy Cotto Director of Personnel. From the beginning Melanie was very competitive and ready to play, since she was six, she played up a year, and traveled to play abroad to national tournaments and even one in Argentina, at 8 years old she won a National Championship for 3V3 at Disney World Wide Sports, she became a part of a very successful Albertson Fury 98 team that won many titles such as State Cup, FC Delco Jefferson cup, etc., She is also a continuous invitee for the National ID2 Camps and PDP events. She has been the most valuable player at her East Meadow High School since 2013, winning MVP, Class AA All State and Athlete of the year awards. Navas has been a member of Fury for six years and counting. She is looking forward to continue her hard work to achieve her dream of playing soccer at the highest level.

Devon Olive
FC Fury is proud to announce the signing of Devon Olive. Devon was voted MVP of Poly Prep Varsity Soccer, All-League 1st team in Ivy Preparatory School League, and All-Brooklyn 1st team for Varsity soccer. She was also a part of the 2015 Super Y League National Championship team. "Devon is a hybrid footballer. Can play and be successful in any position. Strength, intelligence and clever mind for the game make her a top college prospect."Commented Izzy Cotto Director of Personnel.

When asked why she chose FC Fury, "FC FURY has put a great coaching staff together, an impressive periodization and training plan that will help maximize individual and team development. I am really looking forward to being a part of the first DA team on Long Island!" In addition to soccer, Olive has been a member of her High School Squash and Basketball Varsity teams. Most recently, Olive has been selected to the ECNL Regional PDP event.

Her parents, Lee and Louise also added, "we've watched Devon's love for the game grow over the years, from her first AYSO match as a five year old. That passion has pushed her to keep working hard and invest the time necessary to get better. The opportunity to join the FC FURY GDA is a testament to that hard work. We wish her all the success in the world as she takes this next step."
